Screen Life

So, since the Christmas holidays, I have moved away from drawing a little bit to focus on making moving images, the thinking being that I can draw a little better once I know how the drawings need to be used.

I have dabbled with Adobe Animate a little before the holidays, but only got as far as a childishly simple walk cycle.

However, with a little work, I have rigged and created this character, along with some tutorials. The character at this point can only blink, but over the coming weeks as it gets more animated, I will post the results.

At this point it's a little rough, but the principle works. I think I shall embark on a challenge to make a full animated short before year's end.
